Wonderful Stay at a Charming Inn
enclosed garden tea facilities bistro table amazing decor
I appreciated the enclosed little garden adjoining the newly refurbished room it was perfect for relaxation. The tea and coffee facilities were excellent I especially liked the bathrobes provided. There was a lovely bistro table with chairs just outside the front door a great place to sit and have a drink. The decor was amazing it felt inviting and calming making my visit very pleasant.
The homemade salted caramel ice cream my husband ordered was a little too warm this was only a minor issue.

great atmosphere friendly staff clean toilets good dinner
The pub had a great atmosphere. The restaurant served good dinner. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The toilets were clean and stocked with tissues.
The breakfast was fine, though the filter coffee was dreadful. They told me there was an extra charge for a cappuccino.

The Beautiful Twin Room was super clean. It included comfortable twin beds. The room was also very quiet, which allowed me to get a good night's sleep, and it was well-kept.

The room was very clean and orderly.
The staff seemed untrained. Service for drinks was slow. It took nearly 30 minutes to get the forgotten drinks.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. the accommodation was spotlessly clean. the in-room tea selection offered good quality loose-leaf options, not just average tea bags. The breakfast was freshly cooked with good quality ingredients.
The lime and soda cost £3:50. I thought that was a little expensive.

staff attitude card security
honestly, the staff was kinda a letdown. seemed more interested in chatting amongst themself than, ya know, actually doing they job. and i really hate that i had to hand over my card during check in, i thought i could enter it myself but guess not. felt a bit unsafe, like a step back into the dark ages of data security.

dog-friendly stay
enclosed garden bistro table dog welcome pack
we stayed one night in a newly refurbished room. it included an enclosed garden, great for the dogs! a bistro table with chairs sat just outside the front door. the bed seemed like sleeping in a cloud. the welcome pack for dogs had a ball, treats, and poo bags.
the inn had new owners and was being remodeled . breakfast was unavailable, and the bar offered limited choices. this lack of communication created disappointment.

food tasted freshly cooked and looked beautifully presented. my dessert, white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, was delicious. my husband enjoyed the salted caramel ice cream, despite finding it a little warm.

the on-site parking was quite convenient. the staff was very friendly and helpful . i found the full english breakfast freshly cooked with quality ingredients.
i noticed a bit of noise through the ceiling in my room at one point.
